Steve entered college with the intention of becoming a lawyer. He finds helping clients avoid problems and solving legal issues particularly rewarding. Since beginning his practice in 1978, Steve has extensive experience in commercial litigation, construction litigation, business and real estate transactions, and real estate development. He also has had the good fortune to have represented lenders, borrowers, creditors, debtors, bankruptcy trustees, creditor committees, contractors, developers, farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, distributors, automobile dealers, farm implement dealers, marine dealers, hotel and restaurant operators, landfill operators, insurers and insureds.

When not working, Steve enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and grandchildren. Steve is an avid bass and trout fisherman and occasional hunter.
